Brain drain city

I live in a rural city. It has two universities of applied sciences, which isn’t that extraordinary.

Most talented or at least ambitious people move to Amsterdam, at least.

Still we have to educate those people.

What’s left is people who ‘make do’.

So it is not more than reasonable that the ‘city’ which profits from this brain drain compensates rural areas for their absorbtion of talent.
